How to Book a Tattoo at Rose Noir Tattoo Studio

Your step-by-step guide to getting started.

If you've never booked a custom tattoo before, you might be wondering how the process works. At Rose Noir Tattoo Studio, appointments are scheduled a little differently than at a traditional walk-in tattoo shop.

I specialize in large-scale, custom tattoos, and every project is planned individually. Here's what you can expect, from your first inquiry to your tattoo appointment.

Step 1: Join the Booking Notification List

I open my books a few times each year. This means I only accept new tattoo requests during specific periods.

The easiest way to know when I'm accepting new projects is to sign up for my booking notification list on my website.

You'll receive an email when the next submission period opens.

Step 2: Submit Your Tattoo Idea

When booking opens, you'll be invited to complete a tattoo request form.

This is where you'll tell me about your idea, including what you'd like tattooed, where you'd like it placed, and approximately how large you'd like it to be.

Don't worry if you don't know all the details yet! You don't need to have a finished design. That's my job.

Step 3: I'll Review Your Request

Once submissions close, I'll review the requests to determine which projects are a good fit for my artistic style and availability.

Because I specialize in certain types of tattoos, I'm not able to accept every project.

If your idea is approved, you'll receive an email with instructions for scheduling an in-person consultation.

Step 4: Meet With Me for a Consultation

A consultation is simply a meeting where we discuss your tattoo before scheduling the actual appointment.

We'll talk about your ideas, placement, size, colors, and overall design.

This is also your opportunity to ask questions and get a better understanding of what your tattoo will involve.

You don't need to know anything about tattooing beforehand. I'll guide you through the process!

Step 5: Schedule Your Tattoo Appointments

After your consultation, we'll determine how many appointments your tattoo may require.

Large tattoos often take multiple sessions to complete. A session is simply one tattoo appointment.

A deposit is required to reserve your appointment dates. I'll explain the deposit requirements and scheduling policies before you book.

Please keep in mind that my calendar is often booked approximately a year in advance.

Step 6: Get Ready for Your Tattoo!

Once your appointments are scheduled, I'll provide instructions to help you prepare.

I'll create your custom artwork before your first tattoo appointment, and we'll review the design together when you arrive. If small adjustments are needed, we can discuss them before tattooing begins.

Then it's time to bring your idea to life!

Ready to Get Started?

You don't need tattoo experience, artistic knowledge, or a perfectly planned design to begin.

All you need is an idea and a willingness to trust the process.
