Deposit & Scheduling Policy

All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstance. No exceptions.

A deposit is required to reserve all tattoo appointments. No appointment is considered booked or held without a paid deposit.

Deposits are applied toward the total cost of the tattoo. For multi-session projects, a deposit is required for each scheduled appointment.

Deposit amounts:

  • $400 for the first session

  • $200 for each additional session

Deposits are non-transferable and may not be applied to a different tattoo, project, appointment type, or person.

Each deposit is specifically tied to the tattoo concept discussed during consultation and scheduled for the appointment.

Late Arrivals

Arriving more than 30 minutes late may result in cancellation of the appointment and forfeiture of the deposit.

Design Process

Tattoo designs are reviewed at the beginning of the appointment. Minor adjustments may be made at that time. Significant changes may require additional time or fees.

Excessive communication or repeated design changes outside of the appointment process may be limited to protect production time.

Rescheduling & Cancellation

A minimum of 14 days’ notice is required to reschedule without forfeiting the deposit.

Rescheduling requires a $50 fee per appointment.

Each appointment may only be rescheduled once. Additional reschedules require a new deposit.

Cancellations within 14 days result in forfeiture of deposit.

No-call/no-show appointments result in forfeiture of all deposits and cancellation of remaining bookings.

Artist Rescheduling

In the rare event that Megan at Rose Noir Tattoo must reschedule or cancel an appointment, every effort will be made to provide as much notice as possible.

The client’s deposit will be fully applied toward the rescheduled appointment, and a $50 credit will be applied toward that session as a courtesy.

Rose Noir Tattoo is not responsible for travel expenses, lodging, lost wages, or any other incidental costs related to appointment changes or cancellations.

Right to Refuse Service

Service may be refused or discontinued for reasons including inappropriate behavior, intoxication, failure to follow instructions, skin or medical concerns, or any situation that compromises safety or quality.

Acknowledgement

By submitting a deposit, the client acknowledges and agrees to this policy.

Tattoo Deposit Agreement 

By submitting a deposit, the client enters into a service agreement with Rose Noir Tattoo (“Artist”) for tattoo services scheduled at a specific date and time.

The client acknowledges that the deposit functions as a non-refundable retainer fee, earned upon receipt, which compensates the Artist for:

  • reservation and blocking of appointment time

  • administrative scheduling and communication

  • preparation of tattoo design concepts and project planning

The client understands that the deposit is not contingent upon completion of tattoo services and is not refundable under any circumstances.

 

Appointments are reserved exclusively for the client upon receipt of deposit. Failure to attend, late arrival beyond the stated grace period, cancellation within the required notice period, or violation of studio policies may result in forfeiture of deposit and cancellation of services.

 

The Artist reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at their sole discretion where necessary to protect safety, workflow, or professional standards.

 

If the Artist is required to reschedule, the client will be offered either a rescheduled appointment with a credit or application of the deposit to a future booking.

 

The client agrees not to initiate chargebacks or payment disputes for services or deposits made in accordance with this agreement. Any dispute initiated in contradiction of these terms may result in refusal of future services and submission of documentation to the payment processor.

 

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.

 

By checking the agreement box and submitting a deposit, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

Deposits are required for all tattoo appointments.
